area
CTS Salzburg is an important traffic node for combined freight transport
in western Austria. The catchment area covers Salzburg, the south of Bavaria,
some areas of Upper Austria, Styria, Carinthia, Tyrol and Vorarlberg.
As central hub for combined traffic this terminal is a connector between
road and rail. The most important european ports and commercial centers
are addressed by daily shuttle train services.
